Today and EveryDay.

I love Thanksgiving.
Gratitude has come to define my life.
And I’m happy to devote an entire day to feeling
and expressing my gratitude for all the blessings in my life
and on my life.

What are YOU grateful for?
I ask myself this question throughout my day,
especially on the challenging days and/or at the
challenging moments of any day.

I learned this from my Dad.  Though it took me years to understand.

It brings me out of any dumpster that I might
have jumped into, feeling sad or sorry for myself
or scared or anything that draws me out of the moment
and into worry or despair.

What am I grateful for?

The birds’ songs and being able to hear them!
Running water.
Listening to my sons laugh with each other.
Walking in the woods with my beautiful dog.
Laughing with my husband over something stupid and silly.
Breath.
The sun shining…even if it’s only in my heart.
Waking up this morning (I learned this from my Dad.).

When we live in gratitude,
we walk with grace.

We see things from a totally different perspective—
that of being blessed rather than oppressed or depressed.

Asking, “What am I grateful for?” puts me on the path
of creating an attitude of gratitude.
The next, very important step is sitting with the FEELING
of gratitude.

I invite you, I encourage you to give yourself the gift of a moment
today and everyday to invite gratitude and its companion—grace—
into your life.

YOU are grace.

I’m grateful for your presence in my life.

Many Blessings Today and EveryDay,

Paula
